Shirley Buzzoni - Inspiring the Way for a Peaceful & Confident Beginning
Besides loving her role as wife, mother and new grandmother, Shirley enjoys supporting families welcoming new babies as they enter this deeply profound and life-transforming experience.

Shirley is a DONA certified Birth & Postpartum Doula. She understands the needs of expectant and new parents, and guides them through the birth and postpartum period with calm and confidence. Her areas of strength include lactation support and helping mothers of multiples.

Shirley effectively works to inspire peace and confidence with a gentle touch and practical assistance.

Chellie Powell - Helping You Achieve Your Goals in Birth & Postpartum
Chellie is certified as a Birth and Postpartum Doula by DONA, and has been practicing since 1998. Her presence brings calmness & reassurance to women and their partners. Her encouraging support allows her clients the freedom to pursue their goals either in the labor room or at home with their newborn.

In addition to her own two healthy children, Chellie has cared for 'at-risk' newborns both in the hospital and in her home. She is available to help you achieve continuity, structure and calm throughout the birth & postpartum experience.

Lydia Hocking - Helping Families Transition Smoothly
Lydia Hocking is a Postpartum Doula and is DONA trained and certified. She is married and the mother of two grown children and grandmother of two wonderful grandchildren.

Lydia's extensive experience working with women and loving babies makes her a natural as a nurturing professional. She is encouraging, supportive and offers practical help to new parents, new babies and their siblings. She finds great satisfaction in helping families transition smoothly by easing their way.

Dorothy Landino - Easing & Enhancing the Transition for Parents of Newborns
Dorothy is happily married and lives in the South Bay where she & her husband raised their two sons, and are the grandparents of four wonderful children. She became a Postpartum Doula because she knows the value of postpartum support to a new family and the importance of getting off to a good start.

Dorothy gives the mom and family a sense of security while nurturing, educating, and supporting them with practical help. Whether caring for her many families of multiples or just one baby at a time, those who have used her services have found her calming & supportive assistance to have greatly eased and enhanced their transition as parents of newborns.

Rená Ward - Bringing Knowledge and Compassion to the Birthing Place
Rená's love for understanding the birth process brings knowledge as well as, compassion to the birthing place. She enjoys working with her clients, by educating and preparing them so that they are better equipped to make informed decisions.

Trained in a variety of supportive techniques, Rena’ is a DONA certified Birth Doula, CAPPA certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Happiest Baby Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, and CAPPA Certified Labor Doula Trainer with years of experience. Rena' currently holds a position on the board of directors for Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC) and is the Regional Representative for CAPPA.

Rena' enjoys educating and being a local resource to newly expectant mothers and their families. She considers it a true blessing to support families and in helping them to achieve the experience they desire.

Elaine Skaggs - Lending a Helping Hand to New Families

Elaine Skaggs has enjoyed her role as wife and mother. Now with grown children she feels it is a privilege to lend a helping hand to new families as they get started. 

From years of experience working with young mothers, Elaine has a heart for the encouragement and support that parents need as they welcome a new baby into their home.  Wanting to bring the highest level of care to her families Elaine has completed the Postpartum Doula training required by DONA and is pursuing certification.  She is adult and infant CPR trained and has a certification in first aid with the American Red Cross.  The families Elaine has worked with feel she has been a calming and helpful presence in their home.
